Jayde Spa – Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Jayde Spa. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form the basis of the legal agreement between you (the client) and Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited (Company Number 15224830), with its registered office at 80 Great George Street, Liverpool, L1 5FF ("we", "us", "our").

These Terms govern the use of our facilities and services, including all memberships and individual spa sessions. They also outline the rules and regulations applicable to all individuals accessing the premises. By purchasing a membership or booking a spa session, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.

The purpose of this document is to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members, guests, and users of Jayde Spa facilities. We kindly request that you read these Terms carefully and refer to them periodically, as they are subject to change at our discretion. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Jayde Spa team.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of, or in connection with, these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual obligations) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

As part of our service provision, we may need to contact you using the details provided at the time of registration. Communication may be made via telephone, SMS, or email. Please notify us promptly of any changes to your contact details. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed here (link to privacy policy).

Structure of These Terms

To aid clarity and ease of understanding, these Terms are divided into two sections:

  • Part A – Membership Terms and Conditions
    These apply to all individuals who hold a Jayde Spa membership.

  • Part B – Spa Facility Rules and Regulations
    These apply to all users of the spa, including both members and non-members.

We are committed to maintaining high standards of service, safety, and customer care, and thank you for your cooperation and adherence to these Terms.

PART A – TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

1. Definitions Applicable to Part A

In this section of the Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • "You" / "Your" – refers to the individual who has entered into a membership agreement with Jayde Spa.

  • "We" / "Us" / "Our" – refers to Jayde Spa 

  • "Home Spa" – refers to the specific Jayde Spa location where your membership has been registered and which you primarily attend.

1. Membership Joining

1.1 Eligibility

Membership at Jayde Spa is exclusively available to individuals who are:

  • Aged 18 or over; and

  • Verified residents of Legacie apartments.

Membership is subject to the provision of valid documentation confirming residency. Jayde Spa reserves the right to request updated proof of residency at any time to confirm continued eligibility.

1.2 Proof of Identity and Residency

To apply for membership, you must provide:

  • One form of photographic identification (e.g. passport, driving licence); and

  • One form of proof of address confirming current residency in a Legacie property.

Acceptable forms of documentation are available from the Jayde Spa team.

1.3 Membership Activation

Membership begins on the date your application is approved by Jayde Spa. Upon joining, you will be required to:

  • Download the Jayde Spa mobile app; and

  • Have a photograph taken for the purpose of identity verification upon entry to the Spa.

1.4 Guest Memberships

You may apply to add one Guest Member (aged 18 or over) to your membership. Each Guest Member:

  • Will be charged the applicable membership fee based on the selected membership type; 

  • Is not required to be accompanied by the primary member to access the facilities.

To register a Guest Member:

  • Both the primary resident member and the guest must attend the Spa Reception Lounge during operating hours;

  • The Guest Member must download the Jayde Spa mobile app and have their photograph taken for identification purposes.

1.5 Responsibility for Guest Membership

Guest Members may continue their membership only if the primary resident member remains a verified Legacie resident. If the primary resident member cancels their membership, as outlined in A7 Cancellation of membership and notice periods, this will be taken as instruction to terminate the Guest Member’s membership as well. The Guest Member will be responsible for any outstanding fees on their account.

1.6 Membership Conditions

Membership is personal to you and non-transferable.

  • You must not allow any other person to use your membership or access the Spa under your account.

  • If another individual is found using your membership, Jayde Spa reserves the right to immediately cancel your membership without notice.

1.7 Breach of Terms

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your membership without notice if:

  • You breach any of these Terms and Conditions; or

  • You engage in conduct within the Spa that is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disrespectful to staff or other guests.

2. Cooling Off Period

2.1 Right to Cancel

If you change your mind after purchasing a membership, you have the right to cancel within 14 calendar days from the date your membership begins (the "Cooling Off Period"). To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing by sending an email to hello@jaydespa.co.uk

2.2 Refunds Upon Cancellation

  • If you cancel your membership during the Cooling Off Period and have not used any of the spa facilities, you will receive a full refund of any membership fees paid.

  • If you cancel during the Cooling Off Period and have used the spa facilities, we reserve the right to deduct a proportionate amount from your refund. This amount will reflect reasonable use, and the value of the services provided up to the point of cancellation.

3. Membership Types

3.1 Membership Options

Jayde Spa offers a range of membership types exclusively available to verified residents of Legacie apartments. Each membership provides specific benefits and levels of access to Spa facilities. Members may select from the following options:

  • All Access Multi-Site Membership: Access to multiple Jayde Spa locations.

  • Single Site Access Membership: Access to one designated Jayde Spa location.

3.2 Membership Terms

Memberships are available on the following basis:

  • Fixed Term Membership: A six-month commitment, payable in advance.

  • Flexible Monthly Membership: A rolling monthly arrangement, with payments due in advance.

All membership fees must be paid via debit or credit card. Fees are inclusive of VAT and are non-refundable.

3.3 Facility Access

Your entitlement to use Spa facilities depends on the specific membership type you have chosen.

  • Details of accessible facilities permitted usage times, and current pricing will be provided upon joining.

  • Some memberships may be subject to additional terms or usage restrictions. These will be communicated to you at the time of enrolment or upon any changes to your membership type.

3.4 Modifications and Notice

Jayde Spa reserves the right to modify facility usage arrangements were reasonably necessary. Where possible, members will be provided with at least one month’s notice of any significant changes to access or service availability.

3.5 Complimentary Membership for Property Owners

Legacie apartment owners are entitled to a complimentary Single Site Membership, which may include access for friends and family, subject to availability. Usage terms and any restrictions for complimentary access are determined by the Spa and may vary over time.

4. Membership Lengths and Fees

4.1 General Payment Terms

Membership fees are payable in advance, either:

  • Monthly for Flexible Monthly Memberships; or

  • Every six months for Fixed Term Memberships.

  • Membership fees vary by location. Full details of current membership pricing can be found:

    • On our website; or

    • By enquiring at your local Spa reception team.

4.2 Flexible Monthly Membership

  • Flexible Monthly Memberships commence on the date of application approval and will continue on a rolling monthly basis until terminated by the member.

  • Members must provide a minimum of one full month’s payment notice in writing to cancel, as set out in A7 Cancellation of Membership and Notice Periods.

  • Monthly payments must be maintained without interruption. It is the member’s responsibility to:

    • Ensure payment details are kept up to date; and

    • Ensure sufficient funds are available at the time of each payment.

4.2.1 Upgrading to Fixed Term Membership

  • Flexible Monthly Members may request to change to a Fixed Term Membership at any time.

  • One full month’s payment notice is required.

  • Upon conversion, a new six-month term will commence from the date of change.

  • The membership fee will be adjusted to reflect the current rate for Fixed Term Memberships, as advertised at the time of conversion.

4.3 Fixed Term Membership

  • Fixed Term Memberships run for a minimum six-month period from the date of application approval.

  • The full six-month membership fee is payable in one advance payment by debit or credit card.

  • This constitutes a minimum commitment of six full months, regardless of usage or early termination.

4.4 End of Fixed Term Period

  • Prior to the expiration of the initial six-month period, we will contact you by email to confirm whether you wish to:

    • Renew your Fixed Term Membership;

    • Change to a Flexible Monthly Membership; or

    • End your membership.

  • If you choose to change to a Flexible Monthly Membership:

  • The change will take effect from the date of conversion.

  • A new one-month payment notice period will begin from this date.

  • Fees will be adjusted to reflect the current Flexible Monthly Membership rate applicable at the time of the change.

  • Your membership will continue indefinitely until you provide notice in accordance with A7 Cancellation of Membership and Notice Periods.

5. Guests

5.1 Guest Access and Supervision

Members and Legacie residents are permitted to bring guests to use the Spa facilities, subject to the following conditions:

  • All guests must sign in at reception using the Jayde Spa App upon arrival.

  • Guests must be accompanied at all times by the inviting member or Legacie resident.

  • The inviting member or resident is fully responsible for ensuring that their guest:

    • Is aware of and complies with all Spa rules and regulations; and

    • Conducts themselves in a respectful and safe manner while on the premises.

Guest conduct is subject to the rules set out in B4 Spa Usage and Conduct

5.2 Guest Fees

  • All guests must pay the appropriate spa session fee to access Spa facilities.

  • Fees for guest access may vary by location. Full details of current guest pricing can be found:

    • On our website; or

    • By enquiring at your local Spa reception team.

5.3 Social Guests

  • Social guests (those not using Spa facilities) are permitted to access lounge areas only.

  • Social guests do not have access to the Spa facilities.

5.4 Access Restrictions

  • Certain times may be subject to guest and social guest access restrictions (e.g. peak hours or special events).

  • For up-to-date information regarding these limitations, please contact your local Spa team.

6. Children

6.1 Eligibility Requirements 

Only current Jayde Spa members and Legacie residents are permitted to bring children aged 5 years and older to the Spa. Guest members are not permitted to bring children.

  • Children are welcome free of charge.

  • All children must be accompanied and actively supervised at all times by a responsible adult who is a Legacie resident or Jayde Spa member and is aged 18 or over.

6.2 Parental/Guardian Responsibility and Consent

For a child to access Spa facilities, the adult with parental responsibility must:

  • Review and accept the Child Access Policy;

  • Complete and sign a Child Registration & Consent Form in the Spa Lounge prior to any child accessing the spa facilities.

  • Parents/guardians are fully responsible for their child’s safety, conduct, and personal belongings.

Access will not be granted to any child without a completed and approved consent form.

6.3 Child Access Policy 

6.3.1 Supervision

  • A single adult may supervise no more than two children at a time.

  • Children aged 16 or under must be accompanied by a Legacie Resident over 18 years old.

  • Once a child turns 16, they may visit the Spa as a guest and pay the applicable guest fee according to the resident's membership type.

6.3.2 Behaviour Expectations

  • Children must always behave in a calm and respectful manner. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

6.3.3 Facility Restrictions (For Safety):

  • Jacuzzi Pool: Allowed for children aged 5–16 with adult supervision.

  • Sauna & Steam Room:

    • Children under 12 are not permitted.

    • Children aged 12–16 may use these areas with adult supervision and must adhere to recommended time limits.

  • Cold Plunge: Not permitted for anyone under 16.

  • Items such as snorkels, masks, fins, flippers, and inflatables are not allowed in the jacuzzi pool.

6.3.4 Hygiene & Safety

  • All users must shower and use the toilet before entering the spa facilities.

  • Do not bring children with contagious illnesses into the Spa.

  • Please walk with caution - while floors are regularly cleaned and dried, they may be slippery due to frequent use.

6.4 Child Booking & Availability

Children's sessions cannot be booked via the Jayde Spa App. Bookings are available on the day only, subject to availability. Please speak to a staff member at the Spa Lounge Reception to check for space and register your child.

Note: While we strive to provide access, availability cannot be guaranteed on the day.

6.5 Permitted Child Entry Hours

Weekdays (Mon–Fri):

  • Ages 5–16: 10:00am–12:00pm and 4:00pm–6:00pm

  • From 6:00pm onward, access is limited to those aged 12+

Weekends (Sat–Sun):

  • Ages 5–16: 11:00am–2:00pm

  • From 2:00pm onward, access is limited to those aged 12+

Permitted hours may be amended at any time due to operational, safety, or maintenance reasons. Notice will be provided at the Spa Lounge Reception whenever possible.

6.6 Changing Facilities

Jayde Spa provides male, female, and accessible changing rooms with showers and toilets.

  • Children over the age of 8 must use the changing rooms that correspond with their sex.

  • Children aged 8 and older may use the changing rooms without supervision.

  • Children are not permitted in opposite-sex changing rooms after their 8th birthday.

Lockers are available for day-use, but we strongly advise against bringing valuables. Jayde Spa cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged, even when stored in lockers.

6.7 Children Aged 16 - 17 Years

Once a child of a Jayde Spa member or resident reaches the age of 16, they are considered an independent adult in terms of Spa access and usage. At this point, the following options apply:

  • They may attend the Spa as a paying guest, subject to the standard guest session fee; or

  • The existing member may apply to add them as an additional guest member in accordance with A 1.4 Guest Memberships.

7. Cancellation of Membership and Notice Periods 

7.1 Flexible Monthly Membership Cancellation

If you are a Flexible Monthly Member, you may cancel your membership at any time by providing one full month’s payment notice.

7.1.1 Notice Period Clarification

Your notice period will commence from your next scheduled payment date. For example:

  • If you give notice on 1st June and your next payment is due on 15th June, your one-month notice period will run from 15th June to 14th July.

  • Your membership will remain active during that time and will officially end on 14th July.

7.2 Notice Method and Confirmation

  • All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing via email to: hello@jaydespa.co.uk

  • Your cancellation is not effective until we have received and acknowledged it.

  • We will confirm receipt of your cancellation notice within 10 business days.

  • If you do not receive confirmation within that time, it is your responsibility to follow up to ensure your notice has been received.

We recommend requesting a delivery or read receipt when sending your cancellation email for your records.

7.3 Payment Requirements at Cancellation

All membership fees must be fully paid and up to date, including the notice period payment, at the time of cancellation.

7.4 Guest Memberships Linked to Your Account

If you have any guest members linked to your account, your cancellation will be treated as authorisation to cancel their membership as well. Guest members are not permitted to continue their membership unless the primary (resident) member remains active and eligible.

7.5 Fixed Term Membership Cancellation

  • Fixed Term Memberships are subject to a six-month minimum commitment as outlined in A4 Membership Lengths and Fees.

  • Early cancellation is not permitted, and membership fees are non-refundable during the fixed term.

8. Freezing Your Membership

8.1 Eligibility for Freezing

Only members on a Fixed Term Membership are eligible to apply for a temporary freeze on their membership.

  • Members may apply to freeze their membership for one single period of one month during the six-month term.

  • When a freeze is applied, the expiry date of your six-month membership will be extended by one month accordingly.

8.2 Notice Requirements

To request a freeze:

  • You must provide one full month’s notice, in alignment with your original joining date.

  • For example: If your membership started on 5th June and you wish to freeze for the month of September, you must give notice by 5th August. The freeze period will run from 5th September to 4th October, and your membership will resume automatically on 5th October.

8.3 How to Submit a Freeze Request

  • All requests to freeze must be made in writing via email to: hello@jaydespa.co.uk

  • Your freeze request will not be considered effective until we have received and acknowledged it.

  • We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days. If you do not receive confirmation within this timeframe, it is your responsibility to contact us and verify receipt.

We recommend requesting a delivery or read receipt when submitting your request for your records.

8.4 Facility Access During Freeze

  • During the freeze period, you will not be permitted to use any Jayde Spa facilities.

  • If you are found using the Spa while your membership is frozen:

    • Your freeze will be cancelled immediately; and

    • Your membership end date will revert to its original six-month term, without the additional extension.

Please note that freezing your membership is not the same as cancelling. Your membership will automatically resume at the end of the agreed freeze period.

9. Changing Your Membership Category

9.1 Requesting a Change

We understand that your membership needs may change over time. If you wish to change your membership type, you may submit a request by contacting us in writing at hello@jaydespa.co.uk

9.2 Eligibility and Conditions for Change

9.2.1 From Fixed Term to Flexible Monthly Membership

If you are on a Fixed Term Membership and have completed your initial six-month commitment period, you may request to change to a Flexible Monthly Membership.

  • Your new membership terms will follow the Flexible Monthly conditions set out in A4 Membership Lengths and Fees.

9.2.2 From Flexible Monthly to Fixed Term Membership

If you are on a Flexible Monthly Membership, you may request to change to a Fixed Term Membership.

  • Upon approval, a new six-month commitment will begin from the date of the change.

  • Your new membership terms will follow the Fixed Term conditions set out in A4 Membership Lengths and Fees. 

9.3 Fee Adjustments and Proof of Eligibility

  • When changing membership categories, your membership fee will be updated to reflect the current advertised rate for the new membership type, as applicable to new members at your Spa.

  • You will be responsible for paying any difference between your previous membership rate and the new rate.

  • We may require you to provide evidence of eligibility for the new membership category you are applying for (e.g., proof of Legacie residency).

10. Changes to Membership Fees and This Agreement

10.1 Membership Fee Adjustments

We reserve the right to increase membership fees from time to time.

  • Any changes to membership fees will be communicated to you in advance.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to provide you with at least one month’s notice prior to any fee increase.

  • Notice of fee changes will be given in writing via email to the contact details you provided at the time of registration, or as updated by you thereafter.

10.2 Changes to Terms & Conditions

We may revise or update this agreement and the associated terms and conditions at any time.

  • Changes will be made available through our website and/or by direct email notification.

  • Continued use of the Spa facilities following such updates will be taken as your acceptance of the revised terms.

PART B – RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SPA FACILITY USAGE AND ACTIVITIES

Definitions Applicable to Part B

You – refers to any person using Jayde Spa facilities, including members, non-members, residents, and guests.

1. General Health & Safety

1.1 Compliance with Terms and Instructions

By using Jayde Spa facilities, you confirm that:

  • You will use the premises and participate in sessions only as intended.

  • You will follow all reasonable instructions provided by Spa staff;

  • You agree to adhere to our Health & Safety Statement, which can be accessed here

1.2 Medical Responsibility for Members, Guests, and Non-Members 

  • The Spa does not accept liability for any injuries, health complications or medical conditions that may arise from the use of its facilities or participation in any activities or treatments. Members and guests are strongly advised to consult with a medical professional prior to undertaking any treatments or spa use, particularly if they have any underlying health concerns or medical conditions.

1.3 Illness and Infectious Conditions

  • You must not use the Spa if you are suffering from any infectious illness or condition that may pose a risk to others.

1.4 Health and Safety Signage

  • You are required to pay attention to all health and safety signage within the Spa premises.

  • If any signs or notices are unclear, you must consult a member of the Spa team for clarification.

1.5 Emergency Exits and Fire Safety

  • All fire exits are clearly marked throughout the Spa.

  • In the event of a fire alarm, you must immediately vacate the premises using the nearest exit and proceed to the designated assembly point as indicated.

1.6 Accidents and Incidents

  • Any accidents or incidents occurring on the premises must be reported immediately to the senior manager on duty.

  • You are expected to provide full details of the incident to ensure proper documentation and response.

2. Booking Your Spa Sessions

2.1 Booking Access

To book a spa session, all users must first create an account via the Jayde Spa App.

  • Bookings may be made via the Jayde Spa App or in person at the Spa Lounge Reception, subject to availability.

  • Each booking provides access to spa facilities for a 2-hour session, which includes use of the Jacuzzi pool, steam room, sauna, cold plunge, and spa relaxation area.

  • All users of spa session facilities must be at least 18 years of age.

2.2 Member Bookings

  • Members may book spa sessions for personal use, in accordance with the access and entitlements associated with their membership type.

2.3 Resident Bookings

  • Residents may book spa sessions for personal use by first providing proof of identity and residency. you must provide:

  • One form of photographic identification (e.g. passport, driving licence); and

  • One form of proof of address confirming current residency in a Legacie property.

  • You must pay the appropriate spa session fee prior to entry. Resident fees vary between Spa locations; please check our website or contact the reception team at your Home Spa for current pricing.

  • Bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability during Spa opening hours.

2.4 Bookings for Guests of Members and Legacie Residents

  • Members and Legacie residents may bring guests to use the Spa facilities.

  • Guests must sign in at reception using the Jayde Spa App and must always be accompanied by the member or resident during their visit.

  • Guest visits are subject to additional fees and usage restrictions.

  • The guest must pay the appropriate spa session fee prior to entry. Guest fees may vary between Spa locations; please check our website or contact the reception team at your Home Spa for current pricing.

  • Social guests (those not accessing spa facilities) are only permitted to use the lounge area. Please note that certain times of day may carry restrictions on both spa and social guest access. Contact your Spa for full details.

  • The member or resident is responsible for ensuring their guest is aware of and complies with all Spa rules and regulations.

2.5 Non-Member / Non-Resident Bookings

  • We welcome non-members and non-residents to enjoy spa access when it is added as an upgrade to another service, such as a treatment or class, booked for the same day. From time to time, we may also offer standalone single-session spa access without the need to book an additional service — please check with the reception team for availability.

  • All non-member and non-resident guests must check in at reception using the Jayde Spa App.

  • Access for non-members and non-residents is subject to spa session fees and usage limitations.

  • The appropriate spa session fee must be paid in full before entry. Fees differ between spa locations — please refer to our website or speak with the reception team at your chosen location for details.

  • All guests are required to follow the spa’s rules and guidelines during their visit.

2.6 Payment 

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking for all spa sessions.

  • All bookings are prepaid and subject to our 48-hour cancellation notice policy, as outlined in B3 Cancellation of Spa Booking Conditions.

  • No refunds or rebooking will be provided for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, unless agreed at the discretion of Spa management.

2.7 Arrival Time

To ensure a smooth check-in process and maximise your relaxation time, we recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your session start time.

2.8 Availability Disclaimer

All spa sessions are subject to availability. While Jayde Spa will make every reasonable effort to offer a wide range of session types and times, we cannot guarantee availability for any specific time slots.

3. Cancellation of Spa Booking Conditions

3.1 Cancellation by You

  • You may cancel your spa session booking without charge provided that cancellation is made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the session.

  • Cancellations must be submitted via the Jayde Spa App or in writing by email to  hello@jaydespa.com

3.2 Refund Eligibility

  • If you are a resident, non-member, or guest who has paid for a spa session, a full refund will be issued only for cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance, or in the event that the session is cancelled by Jayde Spa.

  • Refunds will not be issued for sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, except at the sole discretion of Spa management.

3.3 Late Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time will be classed as late cancellations and will result in a 100% charge of the session fee.

  • Failure to arrive for a booked session will also result in a full charge, with no refund or rebooking entitlement.

3.4 Bookings Made Within 48 Hours

  • If you make a booking within 48 hours of the scheduled session time, you are not entitled to cancel, and a 100% charge will apply, even if you do not attend.

4. Spa Usage and Conduct

4.1 Spa Environment and Etiquette

  • Jayde Spa is intended to be a calm, quiet, and restorative space. We kindly ask all guests and members to:

    • Speak quietly, especially in designated relaxation areas.

    • Keep mobile phones on silent mode and refrain from taking calls within the spa facilities.

    • Behave respectfully, politely, and appropriately at all times.

4.2 Health, Hygiene, and Use of Facilities

  • For hygiene reasons, all users must shower and use the restroom before entering the Jacuzzi pool, sauna, steam room, or cold plunge.

  • Please adhere to all posted rules and guidelines related to the use of spa facilities. These are displayed clearly in the relevant areas and should be followed at all times.

  • Use of facilities and equipment must be in accordance with:

    • Staff instructions; and

    • Displayed notices and operational guidance.

  • Failure to comply with these guidelines or misuse of facilities may result in removal from the premises.

  • Shaving is strictly prohibited in all spa and wet areas including the Jacuzzi pool, steam room, and sauna.

  • Appropriate attire must be worn. For example, swimwear is not permitted in the Spa Lounge.

4.3 Prohibited Conduct

Jayde Spa reserves the right to restrict access or terminate membership at its discretion under the following circumstances:

  • You appear to be under the influence of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription substances that may impair your judgement or physical ability including but not limited to, anticoagulants, antihistamines, beta-blockers, narcotics, or tranquilizers.

  • Our team determines that it is not medically or physically safe for you to use the facilities.

  • You are found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

  • You attend a session without valid or paid booking.

  • You engage in inappropriate, aggressive, abusive, harassing, offensive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour or language, whether toward staff or other guests.

4.4 Smoking and Vaping

  • Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes or vaping devices are strictly prohibited in all areas of the Spa.

In cases where access is restricted or membership terminated under this section, no refunds will be provided.

5. What to Wear

  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times when using the spa pool, steam room, sauna, cold plunge, and other wet areas of the Spa.

  • Towels, robes, and slippers are available for hire during your visit.

    • Additional fees apply for these items.

    • Charges may vary by location. For details of current pricing, please speak to the team at your Home Spa Lounge Reception.

We kindly ask all members and guests to dress respectfully and appropriately in line with the relaxing and professional environment of Jayde Spa.

6. Lockers & Lost Property

6.1 Lockers

  • Day-use lockers are available for your convenience during each visit.

  • Personal belongings are brought to the Spa at your own risk, and Jayde Spa does not accept responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to items left unattended or stored in lockers.

  • Lockers must be emptied at the end of each visit. Any items left overnight will be removed by our team.

6.2 Collection of Removed Items

  • Items removed from lockers will be held at the Spa Lounge Reception and can be collected within two weeks of removal.

  • After this period, the Spa accepts no responsibility for unclaimed belongings.

6.3 Lost Property Policy

  • Due to hygiene reasons, items such as liquids, undergarments, and hairbrushes will be kept for 24 hours only before being disposed of appropriately.

  • All other lost property found within the Spa will be kept at the Lounge Reception for 24 hours and then transferred to the Concierge, where it will be held for up to one month.

  • Unclaimed items may be donated to local charities after the one-month holding period.

6.4 Found Items

  • If you find a misplaced or lost item during your visit, please hand it in to a team member at the Spa Lounge Reception

7. Photographs and Video Recordings

  • You may take photographs and video recordings for personal use only, provided that you comply with these terms and any additional signage or rules displayed at your Spas.

7.1 Restrictions and Permissions

  • You must not take photographs or videos of any children under the age of 18, except your own.

  • Anyone who appears in your photographs or videos must:

    • Be aware that they are being filmed or photographed.

    • Have given their explicit consent beforehand.

  • Filming and photography are strictly prohibited in changing rooms, toilets, or any other private areas.

7.2 Staff and Member Requests

  • If another member expresses concern or objects to being filmed or photographed, and a complaint is made, you may be asked to:

    • Show the content to a member of the Spa team.

    • Delete any photos or videos deemed inappropriate or taken without proper consent.

  • If requested by a Jayde Spa team member, you must immediately stop filming or taking photographs.

8. Promotional Offers & Discount Codes

From time to time, Jayde Spa may offer discount codes, promotions, prize draws, or other incentives (each referred to as a "Promotion"). These Promotions may be subject to separate terms and conditions, which will be made available to you where applicable.

8.1 General Terms

  • We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw any Promotion at any time without prior notice.

  • Promotions are offered at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed to be available at all times or to all users.

8.2 Misuse of Promotions

  • We reserve the right to cancel your eligibility for a Promotion, or any associated booking, if we reasonably believe that:

    • You have abused or misused a Promotion.

    • You have gained an unfair advantage through manipulation or other improper conduct.

  • If a Promotion is misused, we may also choose, at our discretion, to refuse future bookings or participation in future Promotions.

9. Making Changes to Your Spa Facilities and Activities

We reserve the right to increase, reduce, or withdraw certain facilities, services, or activities in any of our Spas, either permanently or temporarily. This may include (but is not limited to) periods required for cleaning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or operational adjustments.

  • Details of standard opening and closing times for your Spa will be displayed at the Spa Lounge reception. Please note that these hours may vary during bank holidays and the Christmas period. Any temporary or permanent changes will be communicated in the Spa lounge area. Where reasonably practicable, we will aim to provide at least one month’s notice if we reduce the regular opening hours of your Spa.

10. Other Charges

Certain services and facilities may incur additional charges from time to time. Current fees for these services will be clearly displayed at your Spa reception.

10.1 Use of Other Jayde Spa Locations

If you hold a Single Site membership, your membership entitles you to access your home Spa location only. Access to other Jayde Spa locations is subject to guest fees, which vary by location.

11. Other Rules

Only food and drink purchased from the Spa Lounge may be consumed within the Spa areas.

12. Complaints

We are committed to ensuring that our members and guests are satisfied with our services. However, we understand that things may not always go as planned. If you have a complaint, please inform us as soon as possible so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

Initially, please raise your concern with a member of staff at your Spa. If you are not satisfied with their response, you may escalate the matter by contacting the Spa Manager via email at hello@jaydespa.co.uk, clearly stating your complaint. We aim to respond to all complaints within 10 days.

13. Goods That You Purchase from Us

From time to time, various products may be available for purchase at our Spas. We may set out specific terms and conditions or policies that apply to these purchases or to any returns of products made to us after purchase. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

14. Statutory Rights and Refunds and Cancellation

Your statutory rights as a consumer regarding cancellation and refunds are not affected by any limitations set out in these terms and conditions. Refunds for products or services will only be credited to the original credit or debit card used for the purchase.

Waiver

Acknowledgment of Risks:

I understand and acknowledge that participation in activities at Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited (hereinafter referred to as "the Spa") involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of personal injury, property damage, and other hazards. These activities include, but are not limited to, the use of spa services, sauna, steam rooms, fitness equipment, and participation in exercise classes.

Medical Clearance:
I confirm that I have consulted with a physician and have been given medical clearance to participate in activities at the Spa. I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my own health and well-being during participation and to seek immediate medical attention if needed.

Voluntary Participation:
 
I voluntarily choose to use the facilities and participate in the activities at the Spa. I understand that I am free to withdraw from participation at any time and that it is my responsibility to inform the Spa staff of any discomfort or health issues that arise.

Release of Liability:

In consideration of being permitted to enter and use the Spa, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) of any kind arising out of or in connection with my use of the Spa or participation in any activities, including, but not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

Indemnification:

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from all claims, demands, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) of any kind arising out of or in connection with my own actions or omissions while using the Spa or participating in any activities.

Assumption of Responsibility:

I agree to follow all rules and regulations set forth by the Spa and to use the equipment and facilities only for their intended purposes. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur as a result of my failure to adhere to these rules and regulations.
 

Governing Law:

This waiver and release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with this waiver shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.

Severability:

If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Acknowledgement of Understanding:

I have read this waiver and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that by reading I am signing this waiver freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
