Introduction
Welcome to Jayde Spa. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form the basis of the legal agreement between you (the client) and Jayde Spa (Company Number 15224830), with its registered office at 80 Great George Street, Liverpool, L1 5FF ("we", "us", "our").
These Terms govern the use of our services and facilities, including all Jayde Spa in house therapist led treatments. They also outline the rules and regulations applicable to all individuals accessing the premises. By purchasing a treatment service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.
The purpose of this document is to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members, guests, and users of Jayde Spa facilities and services and to create a safe and comfortable environment for all clients and therapists during treatment sessions
We kindly request that you read these Terms carefully and refer to them periodically, as they are subject to change at our discretion. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Jayde Spa team.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of, or in connection with, these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual obligations) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

1. General Health & Safety
1.1 Compliance with Terms and Instructions
By using Jayde Spa services and facilities, you confirm that:
1.1.1 You will use the premises and participate in sessions only as intended.
1.1.2 You will follow all reasonable instructions provided by Spa staff.

1.2 Medical Responsibility
1.2.1 The Spa does not accept liability for any injuries, health complications, or medical conditions that may arise from the use of its facilities or treatments.
1.2.2 Clients are strongly advised to consult with a medical professional prior to undertaking any treatments or spa use, particularly if they have any underlying health concerns or medical conditions.
1.3 Illness and Infectious Conditions
1.3.1 You must not use the Spa or participate in treatment services if you are suffering from any infectious illness or condition that may pose a risk to others.
1.4 Health and Safety Signage
1.4.1 You are required to pay attention to all health and safety signage within the Spa premises. If any signs or notices are unclear, you must consult a member of the Spa team for clarification.
1.5 Emergency Exits and Fire Safety
1.5.1 All fire exits are clearly marked throughout the Spa. In the event of a fire alarm, you must immediately vacate the premises using the nearest exit and proceed to the designated assembly point as indicated.
1.6 Injuries and Accidents
1.6.1 Any accidents or injuries occurring on the premises must be reported immediately to the senior manager on duty. You are expected to provide full details of the incident to ensure proper documentation and response.

2.2 Payment Requirements
2.2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking your treatment.
2.3 Personal Information
2.3.1 Clients are required to provide complete and accurate personal information when booking via the app, including full legal name, address, and date of birth.
2.4 Optional Upgrade – Spa Access
2.4.1 Clients booking treatments are welcome to add on a 2-hour spa session as an optional upgrade.
2.4.2 This upgrade allows the client to bring one guest, who may access the spa facilities without booking a treatment, on the same day as the client’s appointment.
2.4.3 Spa access includes use of our rooftop spa with luxury jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool.
2.4.4 Upgrades are subject to availability on the day of your treatment booking.
2.4.5 You must pay the applicable spa session fee per person before accessing the facilities. Please refer to our website or speak with the reception team for current pricing.
2.4.6 Spa bookings can be made in advance or on the day of treatment, subject to availability during spa opening hours.
2.4.7 Payment can be made through the app or at reception on the day of your visit.
2.4.8 Clients and guests must download the Jayde Spa App and sign in at reception prior to spa access. On arrival, you’ll be asked to register and consent to the Spa User Terms & Conditions, available here: Membership Terms & Conditions — JAYDE SPA
2.4.9 All clients and guests must comply with spa rules and regulations. Everyone is expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner while on the premises.
2.4.10 All Spa bookings are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy.
2.4.11 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless agreed at the discretion of Spa management.
2.5 Understanding Services and Consultations
2.5.1 Whether you are a new or returning client, we encourage you to read the full-service description carefully before booking.
2.5.2 A mandatory consultation is required prior to each treatment. This is essential to assess suitability and identify any contraindications. Our aim is to ensure each treatment is tailored to your individual needs, delivering safe and effective results.
3. Age Policy
3.1 Age Restrictions Apply Treatments and spa access are available exclusively to guests aged 18 years and over.
4. Resident Discount Policy
4.1 Legacie Resident Discount Legacie residents are entitled to 10% off treatments. To apply the discount, residents must contact the Jayde Spa team prior to booking.
5. Treatment Location
5.1 Service Location All treatments are delivered in our private therapy room located at Jayde Spa, on the 17th floor of Parliament Square Apartments, 8 Crump Street, Liverpool, L1 0DQ (Baltic Triangle).
6. Health Conditions, Allergies & Pregnancy
6.1 Medical Considerations
6.1.1 Please inform the team in advance of any allergies, medical concerns, or if you are pregnant. This allows us to recommend treatments that are safe and suitable for your individual needs.
7. Arrival Policy
7.1 Arrival Time
7.1.1 Clients should arrive at least 20 minutes before their treatment time to complete the consultation form and unwind prior to the session.
7.1.2 If arriving late, we will do our best to provide your full session. However, treatment time may be reduced, or a shorter alternative treatment offered, or a rescheduled appointment, depending on the delay and schedule availability.
8. What to Bring
8.1 Spa Essentials
8.1.1 Robes, towels, and slippers are available to hire.
8.1.2 Swimwear is required when using spa facilities.
8.1.3 Changing rooms include complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.
9. Valuables
9.1 Personal Belongings
9.1.1 While lockers are provided, clients are encouraged to leave valuables at home. Jayde Spa accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items on the premises.
10. Spa Etiquette
10.1 Respectful Environment To help maintain a calm and peaceful atmosphere for all guests:
10.1.1 Keep noise to a minimum throughout the spa.
10.1.2 Mobile devices should be set to silent mode.
10.1.3 Filming or photography is not permitted in changing areas.
10.1.4 Jayde Spa is a smoke- and vape-free environment.
10.1.5 Guests upgrading to a spa session must download the Jayde Spa App and agree to the full Spa User Terms and Etiquette.
11. Product Purchases
11.1 Treatment Products A range of products used during treatments is available for purchase. If you wish to purchase any items, please ask a member of our team.
12. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
12.1 Appointment Commitment
12.1.1 We are committed to providing you with the best possible experience during your appointment. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations or missed appointments may prevent another client from accessing our services.
12.2 Cancellations and Changes
12.2.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
12.2.2 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
12.2.3 Refunds are only issued for cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice, or in the event that the spa must cancel your session.
12.3 No-Show Policy
12.3.1 Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without giving notice will be considered a no-show, and the full-service fee will be charged.
12.4 How to Cancel or Reschedule
12.4.1 Please do not reply to your booking confirmation email, as it is not monitored and will not be considered a valid cancellation.

13. Client Responsibilities
13.1 Personal Hygiene
13.1.1 For hygiene reasons, we kindly ask all clients to bathe or shower before their appointment. Please avoid using strong-scented body products, perfumes, or colognes, as we strive to maintain an allergen-free environment for both clients and therapists.
13.2 Open Communication
13.2.1 Your health and safety are our top priorities. It is essential that you notify your therapist of any changes in medication, injuries, or medical conditions.
13.2.2 Please ensure your consultation form is updated at every visit. This helps us deliver safe, personalised treatments tailored to your needs.
13.3 Your Well-Being Matters
13.3.1 Open and honest communication allows us to adapt your treatment in line with your current health status. Sharing relevant updates enables us to provide a secure, effective, and comfortable experience, while avoiding potential complications. Your cooperation with these responsibilities supports not only your own wellbeing but also helps foster a respectful and harmonious atmosphere for all clients and staff.
14. Consultation Form Requirements
14.1 Importance of the Consultation Form
14.1.1 At Jayde Spa, the consultation form is an essential part of delivering a safe, personalised, and effective treatment experience.
14.1.2 All clients are required to complete the consultation form in full prior to their appointment.
14.2 Arrival Time and Preparation
14.2.1 Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time to review your health history, identify any contraindications, and prepare for your session.
14.2.2 If you are unable to arrive early, prior approval must be granted by your therapist, otherwise your appointment may be subject to cancellation.

14.3.2 Incomplete forms may delay your treatment or result in cancellation.

14.4.3 Single-Therapist Studio
As Jayde Spa is a single-therapist practice, timely preparation is crucial to keep appointments running smoothly for all clients. Completing your form beforehand helps us deliver high-quality service.
14.4.4 Non-Completion Policy
Failure to complete the consultation form will result in automatic cancellation of your appointment. Jayde Spa operates independently, and this step is vital for maintaining both quality and safety.
14.4.5 Health Contraindications
Certain conditions may prevent you from receiving treatment or may require specific adjustments. It is critical these are disclosed before your session. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Recent surgeries
Skin infections or open wounds
Cardiovascular conditions
Pregnancy-related complications
15. Zero Tolerance Policy for Inappropriate & Abusive Behaviour
15.1 Statement of Commitment
At Jayde Spa, the safety, dignity and wellbeing of our therapists and clients is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a calm and respectful environment for every treatment. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward any inappropriate, abusive, or sexually suggestive behaviour.
15.2 What is Considered Inappropriate Behaviour?
Any of the following actions will result in the immediate termination of your session and may lead to further action:
Sexual remarks, jokes, or inappropriate comments
Unwanted or suggestive advances
Inappropriate or non-consensual physical contact
Requests of a sexual nature, verbal or implied
Intimidating, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour
Attending under the influence of drugs or alcohol
15.3 Professional Boundaries
Our therapists are professionals. All treatments are strictly therapeutic and in no way sexual. Any behaviour that crosses the professional boundaries of client-therapist interaction will not be tolerated.
15.4 Right to Terminate Session
If a therapist feels unsafe, disrespected or that professional boundaries have been violated, they have full authority to end the session immediately and ask the client to leave the premises. Full payment will still apply. Further action, including reporting to authorities, may be taken where necessary.
16. Prohibited Conduct
16.1 Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
Jayde Spa reserves the right to restrict access to its premises or terminate treatment services at its discretion in any of the following circumstances:
16.1.1 You appear to be under the influence of alcohol, prescription, or non-prescription substances that may impair your judgment or physical ability. This includes, but is not limited to: anticoagulants, antihistamines, beta-blockers, narcotics, or tranquilizers.
16.1.2 It is determined by our team that it is not medically or physically safe for you to receive the treatment.
16.1.3 You are found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
16.1.4 You attend a session without a valid or paid booking.
16.1.5 You engage in any behaviour or use language that is inappropriate, aggressive, abusive, harassing, offensive, threatening, or discriminatory, whether directed toward staff or other clients.
16.2 No Refund Policy
In cases where access is restricted or treatment is terminated under this section, no refunds will be issued.

18. Waiver
18.1 Release of Liability
While every effort is made to ensure your safety, comfort, and wellbeing during treatments, Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, or adverse reaction that may occur as a result of treatment—unless it is proven that the therapist acted negligently or outside their professional scope of practice.
In consideration of booking treatments and using the Spa, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) of any kind arising out of or in connection with my use of the Spa, treatment services, or participation in any activities, including, but not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.
18.2 Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jayde Spa Liverpool Limited, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from all claims, demands, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) of any kind arising out of or in connection with my own actions or omissions while participating in any treatments, activities, or using the Spa.
18.3 Assumption of Responsibility
I agree to follow all rules and regulations set forth by the Spa and to use the treatment services and facilities only for their intended purposes. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur as a result of my failure to adhere to these rules and regulations.
18.4 Governing Law
This waiver and release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with this waiver shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the United Kingdom.
18.5 Severability
If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18.6 Acknowledgement of Understanding
I have read this waiver and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that by reading I am signing this waiver freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
